We worked closely with Salisbury City Church (SCC) to design a cost-effective marketing campaign to inform the entire city about their move to a new venue, including a launch event, whilst refreshing the SCC brand itself.
The campaign brief was to fulfil several requirements - to inform the maximum number of Salisbury residents about their move to a new venue, to increase local awareness, and to build the reputation of the church as modern and relevant.
With very tight print deadlines from the offset, we project managed the entire campaign to ensure all concepts, artwork and prints were received and delivered before each milestone.
It was decided that the campaign would focus on a single launch event at the new venue - it would be free of charge to attend, with activities for families and a free hog-roast and ice cream to attract interest whilst building awareness.
For the advertising, we opted for a flyer mail-shot campaign to reach all the homes in the area as providing the best return on investment, with 50,000 flyers being distributed by Royal Mail in time for the deadline. This would be bolstered by multiple billboard and bus stop adverts with a complimentary message at key entry points to the city to catch additional eyeballs and jog memories.
Additionally, we produced a wide variety of new branded materials for use throughout the church, including indoor / outdoor banners, presentation folders, informative flyers for youth groups, kids work, community groups, and a designed newsletter template for the church staff to update each month with new content.
All work was completed on time and within the specified budget, and the launch event was a great success.
